Evelyn's Bubble Birthday Party - October 13, 2012

Evelyn is still too small to pick her themes so Mommy gets the luxury of doing it. This year I came up with the idea to do a bubble party.

I thought it would be fun to have a bubble machine and it would be fairly easy to make a bubble cake. It worked pretty good, except for the one thing I can't control - the weather. It was a little cold out but we still went ahead and set up the bubble machine outside. It was okay if the kids just went out in shifts. =)

Birthday Girl with her bubble cake!

I think it turned out pretty cute!

We had 75 white balloons just scattered around the house for the kids to play with and to resemble bubbles inside. We also had a whole lot of bubble wrap for the kids to stomp on - that was a big hit!! We also had a large inflatable bowling set for the kids. And, of course, the bubble machine.

Evelyn turned 2 years old!! October 10, 2012!!

For Evelyn's 2nd birthday, we had a Mommy Daughter morning. I took the morning off of work and we went to the library for reading time with Mima, Papa and the boys. After the library we went home and she got to open Mima and Papa's presents. I had a meeting for work that I couldn't get out of, so I dropped Evie off to Nayla. After my meeting, Tommy, Josiah, Evelyn and I went to dinner at Cheddar's to celebrate Evie's birthday. It was a very nice day. She is growing up too fast!!!

Such a big girl!!!

Mima got her a Toy Kitchen!

We love Mima and Papa

Nayla got her a cupcake!!! She was
excited that we sang for her.

October 2012 - Celebrating Kaylee, Kaden and Stanley

Kaylee, Kaden and Stanley had their birthday party as a combined party at a Pumpkin Patch. It was a lot of fun. They had a hay ride, corn to play in, bounce houses, a water shoot thing, a few mazes, and a petting zoo for the kids.

Kaylee turned 5 years old and the boys turned 2 years old!!!

September 2012 - Day with Thomas the Train

Josiah loved the Day with Thomas so much two years ago, that we decided to go again!! Evie likes trains but she is definitely not as obsessed as her brother was at her age. She didn't have any train shirts to wear so I had her wear one of Jo's and made it as girly as I could. =)

The Family!!

Ready to ride Thomas

Getting excited!

There was a petting zoo too!

I thought he was funny looking!!!

Yep those are my kids!!! Proud Mama!!

September 1, 2012 - Evie was a flower girl

My cousin Jon and his future bride asked if Evelyn would be a flower girl in their wedding. I, of course, said "YES", although I did have my hesitations, especially since she wasn't even two years old and she is not my social butterfly. Saturday, September 1, 2012 was the day of the wedding. Friday, August 31, 2012 was the night of the rehearsal dinner and the first real test.

Before the rehearsal dinner, we had a little lunch get together at my house with the Arizona family and mine. It was very short but lovely.

The rehearsal was in Denver, Co. at a beautiful church and then dinner was at Maggiano's in Downtown Denver.

It was a huge piece of cake that I think I was
supposed to share but actually kept most of it
to myself!! HAHA

Saturday September 1, 2012 was the day of the wedding. We had to be to the church by 9am. The kids looked super cute in their dress clothes. Evelyn did awesome as one of the flower girls. She had flowers to throw the day of the wedding, which was a little distraction for her as they did not practice that. =) She did great though. The wedding lasted 70 minutes, which the kids did surprisingly well. It was a very beautiful day!! We were happy to be a part of it.
