The house is coming along

We - Tommy mostly - have been working very hard on getting the house ready for us to move in!!! He has done an amazing job thus far. Even though there is a lot more to do - we are about ready to live there!! We have hit a few bumps in the road but nothing we can't live with and continue forward. We move in May 28-31st.

The painting is pretty much done, we still have the kitchen and one wall in the family room left. Tommy has to stain the wood floors before we move in. The few hiccups we have are with the kitchen and the carpet. The kitchen cabinets we ordered were suppose to arrive May 24th but instead are not getting here until June 8th, meaning we will have to live in the house without a kitchen for a few weeks. It will be like camping!! The carpet is mostly in but we were short by 30 yards, so the guest bedroom and some of the stairs did not get done, and we have to wait an additional 2 weeks for that. We ordered our kitchen appliances yesterday and they should be delivered on Friday May 27th. The lower level bathroom will also have to be remodeled while we are living there - but luckily there is a door that we can close!! There will be fun and excitement at our house for awhile!!

Once the house is fully done, I will add more pictures of the house and the new kitchen!!! We are very excited to see the END!! Whenever that will be. =)
