I am so excited this year but we decided to break down and get a Zoo Membership!! We will be going A LOT this year and I'm happy!!!

The weather has been so beautiful already that we went on Saturday March 24th and had a blast.

He LOVES the tigers

He got to touch a turtle and an Armadillo

I think this is FUNNY!! I sat her in it and she looked
straight up and freaked out!!!

Love him

Birds that don't belong to the zoo were
super fascinating!! Glad we paid to look
at the Zoo animals. =)

Cute!

Lil' Hotshots

Josiah is getting to an age that I want him to start exploring the options of sports and to see if he likes any of them!! I found this group for kids ages 3-5 years old that teach Soccer, Basketball and T-ball. Josiah also has a lot of energy so this is a way for him to run some of that off and meet new people at the same time!!!

It is a 9 week course; 3 weeks of Soccer, 3 weeks of Basketball and 3 weeks of T-Ball. I will add more pictures as the weeks go on, but to begin with here is SOCCER!!!

Running - but not with the group!! =)

Go Josiah Go!

Learned how to stop the ball not using his hands!!

Josiah's Superhero Birthday Party - Feb. 19th

Josiah goes through these stages of what/who he likes. At 2 years old he was obsessed with Veggie Tales, at 3 years old it was Thomas the Train and now at 4 years old it is SuperHeroes. No particular Superhero in general, all though Spiderman and Batman are pretty high ranked. This year for his 4th birthday party, it had to be Superheroes...not one themed superhero but all of them. Do you know how hard it is to find Superman or Wonderwoman stuff? Rediculous. I tried to keep it simple and made it based on 4 Superheroes; Spiderman, Batman, Iron man, and Superman.

Since he is getting older and having a lot more friends than when he was 2 or 3 years old, we planned two parties. One with friends at a Gymnastic Studio and one with family for dinner. Which also meant making two cakes. Keeping up with my tradition, I made the cakes. Luckily Tommy is interested in helping and is a really good helper. I kept the cakes simple this year and made cupcakes put in the shape of a web for Spiderman. I found a Spiderman candle - and bam the cake is done. =)

Cake 1: for Friends
This one was the practice cake on the shape

Cake 2: for Family
I like the shape better, but Tommy wanted to
add Oreo crumbs and I'm not sure I like that.

Cake with Spiderman Candle and of course
the Birthday Boy
Cake for dinner party!! He is so cute.

Our good family friends, the Brake Family, was gracious enough to let us have Josiah's kid party at their gymnastic studio in Castle Rock. It was awesome and the coach did great with the kids!!

Fun!!!

Josiah had a great Birthday!!!

He was very blessed!!

I got all the kids masks - since it was a SuperHero
theme - they looked awesome!!

The SuperHero Group!!
At home for dinner - we made a taco bar. Tacos are one of Josiah's favorite things to eat, so it was fitting for the occasion!!

Relaxing on the couch while we prepare the dinner party.
They love each other!!

Blessed some more!!!

Josiah turned 4 years old!! Feb. 16, 2012!!

Time sure does fly by when you are having fun!!! Our little boy is turning into a little man. Josiah is now 4 years old!!!

We always try to do something special with the birthday boy on his actual birthday, so this year we decided to take him to Jumpoline. It is a new fun center really close to Tommy's parents house. Tommy wasn't feeling great so that left just me and Josiah to have all the fun, while Tommy watched. =)

Fun trampolines to run and jump on

This was a basketball trampoline

Oh yeah

They had a dodge ball trampoline too!! This was
Josiah's favorite area!!

Daddy and the Birthday boy!

Mommy and the Birthday boy!!
After we enjoyed our time in the fun center we went to get Evelyn. Josiah got to pick where he wanted to go eat dinner, and of course being the 4 year old he is he choose McDonald's. Evelyn and Josiah had a great time playing in the play place. After dinner we went home and Josiah got to open his birthday presents and watch his new Superhero movie. It was quite the birthday!!
