July 4th!!

We celebrated July 4th at my Aunt Paula's house. She was having a party and has a very nice swimming pool in her back yard. We had a nice time. Josiah is getting pretty comfortable in the pool. He loves sticking his head under water and holding his breath. We are still working on the swimming, but he at least likes it. Evelyn scares me around pools. Because if her brother is doing it than she should be able to do it too. The pool has a little diving board on it, and Josiah likes to jump of it (as long as Daddy is there to catch him), well Evelyn decided she can do it too. Scares me to death, because she won't care if anyone is there to catch her or not. That child has no fear.

Since it was Independence Day, I got them all dressed up in Red, White and Blue. They looked so cute!!!

YEP - That's my son. =)

So cute!!

July started out HOT!!!

Being that it has been so hot outside, I let the kids run around in the sprinklers pretty often. Josiah loves it. Evelyn likes to stay on the edge. =)

They just look so stinking cute in their swimsuits!!!!

Father's Day - June 17th

Father's Day was pretty relaxing this year. We had a nice quiet morning at home, just the 4 of us. Tommy opened his presents and helped me get ready for the Probasco Family party later that day.

Josiah had fun trying on Tommy's new
gym shorts. =)

And of course the shirt too!!

Because Josiah did it, Evelyn had to!!

Dinner was a lovely Italian meal with Merlin, Janet, Tony, Barbie, Brian and the kids.

Tried to get a nice photo with Tommy, Josiah and Evelyn
(Jeremiah snuck in there - silly boy)

Not interested in taking picture anymore!
HAHA look at Tommy!

Close enough!!
We celebrated with Ronald the following weekend - June 23rd. We went to Mimi's Cafe for a brunch. It was very nice and I know Ronald appreciated it!!

Can you believe it? 7 Years of Marriage!!

June 4, 2012 was Tommy and I's 7th Anniversary. We decided to spend a weekend in Vegas just the two of us to celebrate!! It was a great get away and mostly FREE, which is also great!!!

We stayed at the Jockey Club. It is connected to the Cosmopolitan. The Cosmo is a very nice hotel, very blingy. =) I especially liked all the bling hanging from the ceilings.

The first day we were there it was the hottest day of the season....something like 110 degrees. We walked along the strip and decided to go check out the dolphins and other animals at the Mirage. We also took every chance we could and played almost every Wheel of Fortune machine we saw. The first one we sat at I walked away with $80 bucks and Tommy walked away with $40. Pretty good if I do say so myself.

The second day we were there, we slept in which was WONDERFUL. We woke up in time for lunch and to head to our timeshare presentation. Yes we had to sit through one of those - how else do you think we stayed for free? After the presentation, which lasted for 3 hours (not the 120 minutes they tell you it will take), we walked the strip and actually decided to head to Downtown Vegas. That was a lot of fun. The Golden Nugget was a pretty cool hotel, with a fish tank in the middle of the pool. Tommy and I think it would be cool to stay there the next time we go. Also on the Downtown portion they have a "TV" screen above you, roughly 3 blocks worth. Every hour they play a music show. It was pretty fun. We didn't have as much luck in Downtown Vegas as we were hoping but still enjoyed the experience.

Celebrating Mom's and Kristin's Birthdays

On Monday May 28th, since it was a Holiday we decided to throw a little party for Mom's 63rd birthday and Kristin's 32nd birthday. We had a lot of people come and enjoyed everyones' company.

Evelyn is now in a BIG GIRL BED!!

Evelyn was moved to her Toddler bed on May 19th. She was so excited. We thought with this new opportunity to get out of her bed we would see her in the middle of the night or even when she wakes in the morning...but she doesn't seem to understand that she is allowed to come out of her bed. So, she stays in her bed (still today, almost 2 months later) until we come in her room to get her. It's pretty awesome.

Mother's Day - May 13th

Mother's Day this year was a lot of fun. Tommy surprised me with a trip to Estes Park with the kids. It was a nice get away for one day. We went up on Saturday May 12th and got there in time to have dinner with my niece Jasmine. It is always so nice to see her!

Sunday morning we woke up early and went to play by the St. Mary's Lake, while we waited for Mima and Papa. As you can see we all were practicing to be super heroes of some sort. I think Evelyn won.

We met Mom and Ron at St. Mary's Cabin for a brunch. It was really nice and very tasty!!

After brunch, we headed down the mountain to have dinner with the Probasco side!! It was a very full weekend.
